Objective of the Department
The IT department of the Penal Debe Regional Corporation aims to function as a Support Desk to all other Departments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assisting users with Office Applications problems
- Repair and Maintenance of Desktop and Laptop computers
- Installation of Desktop and other hardware components when necessary in departments
- Creation and set up of email for users
- Maintenance of Equipment Inventory
- Server Management i.e. Creation of new accounts, Adding users to groups, creating groups
- Monitoring Network Performance
- Installation of Software- Operating System, Antivirus, Microsoft Office
- Responding to Network Issues
- Responding to Printer Issues
- Installation of Ink and Toners to Photocopiers and Printers
- Responding to Phone and PBX issues
