The Palmiste National Park is a former sugarcane estate that was previously owned by Sir Norman Lamont. It is a 40-acre estate that lies within the Penal-Debe Regional Corporation.
It contains several distinctive features included:
- Trees and shrubs from all over the world
- A heart-shaped pond
- Open green spaces
- A kids play park
- A mini-cocoa estate
- Re-afforested area
- Historical sites
- The Sonny Ramadhin Statue
