This picnic site has gained its popularity because of the river, known as the “Three Mouth River” where the South Oropouche River, the Curamata River and the Black Water Channel meet. The Tulsa Trace Picnic Site is a playground for the young, old and everyone in between who come to enjoy recreational activities such as picnicking, fishing, crab catching and bird watching. It is an ideal spot for your typical ‘Trini River Lime’ which includes “making ah cook” usually curry duck, pelau or fish broth. For the comfort of visitors; refurbishment and upgrade of this site is currently being undertaken by the Penal Debe Regional Corporation to create the perfect place for relaxation and family outings.
