Objective of the Department
To contribute to the provision of a safe, secure and crime free environment for the burgesses and business owners of the Penal/Debe Municipality. To assist in keeping law and order to the best of our ability.
Role and Responsibilities
- Visits and patrols to Corporation assets (playgrounds, cemeteries and corporation institutions).
- Provision of police security for the Administration Building.
- To perform Orderly duty and provide escorts for the Chairman, Members of Council and Members of Staff for various Corporation Departments
- To perform traffic and general policing duties.
- To investigate reports and enquiries that comes to our attention.
