On Sunday 16th March, 2025, the Penal Debe Regional Corporation and Penal Debe Communities hosted a Phagwa Celebration at the Trintoc Recreation Ground, Clarke Road Penal. The event consisted of Cultural Performances, Dances, Chowtal singing, prizes and giveaways and special appearances by live bands. The event was well attended and most importantly produced a day of fun and great memories with families and friends of the community.
